Fruit Festival

The Ibans gave us so much fruits, so much so that we decided to hold a Fruit Festival party and share the fruits with our Malay friends.

We have got Langsat, Durians, Mangosteen, Rambutans and Coconut. LOL.

John Curtin Weekend - Part 5

After visiting the farm and pekan is free hour. This is the time where you get to do your own stuff; catch a nap, play with the kids, talk to the olds etc etc, up to you. I decided to hang around the common area rather than taking a nap.

Some of the Ibans cried when we left, some of the Curtin Volunteers cried too. Emo much? This 3 days 2 nights trip is really a great experience for me. Words couldn't describe how happy and grateful i was. I'd definitely join this programme again in the near future :) Till then!

John Curtin Weekend - Part 3

Second part of the day proceed with delicious food and wines and games. Had my first durian in 2009! Feels good to eat durian tsk tsk. yumssss. It's like durian marathon, the Ibans won't stop serving us durians. And they won't stop serving u sth else.

Had tuak for the first time ever in my whole entire life. Tuak tastes good :) And they won't stop serving u sth else wines =s That evening, i had 5 glasses of wines (tuak, air puteh, bacardi, white wine). You cannot run away, the moment u finish drinking, they serve you another round. In fact, thank to one of the ah ma, i managed to escape the 6th glass. *phewwwww*
