To add some sparks to this year Chinese New Year's celebration, we planned to play fireworks together. Scheduled on the 3rd, right after the girls exam but i wont be able to make it because i'm flying off the next day, hence tonight (Thanks so much!). Tonight shall be the last time we gather till the coming months. Tough road ahead nevertheless still sticking to the motto : Study smart, Play hard. Late dinner at Pumpkin Patch (like the Pumpkin wedges!)
Sharon's relatives filled us in with chicken wings for supper and not to forget Tian's home made ngo hiang
...and oh finally, i get to meet Jen, the siput-est of all ;p
b!tches
It's just a short while of mini fireworks but we had so much fun and it feels like we're little children all over again :)
We tried drawing our initials and heart shapes and it turns out well...just fine except i failed my initial :( Tonight is worth remembering.
"It's not easy to forgive and forget, to fall and walk up gracefully, to admit and learn from mistake, ...but it's never too late to cherish and appreciate the people around you."
Mum came across an article few months back regarding protecting your eyesight. The concern grew since i've been and will be always walking under the sun during my course in Miri. That's when the idea oftransition came in.
Nevertheless i had a hard time finding the right frame because the frames are mostly too big unless i go for frameless but it's fragile. Hence, i decided to go forshades, which too serve the same purpose and somewhat cheaper. I set my budget to be RM300 or less. I ran 4 optic shops in a day and couldnt find any shades to my liking or if i do, the price is god knows why so expensive, RM600 for a Ray Ban and RM800 for Giorgio Armani. Fine. I was very, very disappointed.
Guan Ho Leong (located at BDC) was my last hope. Walking in without much expectation, i found the right one within half hour; fits perfectly, great price, perfect. I guess life is about finding the right thing and that the best gift comes when you least expect it.
Aunt Maria's birthday celebration at Muse. Fun filled night with lotsa laughters, flashing lights, endless singing and dances. My oh my, never knew the boys can sing so well and all aunties can dance as if they were in their mid 30s.
After what seems long, we had a classmate reunion BBQ party. Too bad i had to leave earlier, so dint get to catch up much and meet our form teacher & the siput-est Jen. Anyhow it was fun and i want more 3 layer pork Tian. Sedap!
Like rainbows and flowers, friends brighten hours.
Second half of the day was singing session. Goodness, i can barely sing Mandarin songs :( Oh wells and the guys were so shy. Towards the end i felt sick and left earlier. So much of a happy day.
Mum was jealous cause i've been absent from home like 24/7 (mom is so damn cute at times). Some more, the fact that i have been sleeping less than 6 hours a day since CNY made me realized that i should stay at home and accompany them today. So today is family day :) [ngaiti, more relaxing lol]
P/S : ...i wana continue listen to Ji Teo's story.i like listening to his story.
There are those who pass like ships in the night. Who meet for a moment, then sail out of sight with never a backwards glance of regret; folks we know briefly then quickly forget.
Then there are friends who sail together through quiet waters and stormy weather helping each other through joy and through strife. And they are the kind who give meaning to life.
Life may not be the life you want to live, but while you're here living on this earth still breathing, embrace every moment.

So practically i've been out whole day despite having open house today ;p. We had CNY visiting starting with my place and Char's was the last stop. Bathed at Char's place, rush to Yen Haw's place for steamboat cause we were all very very hungry. Last on the list was movie - Valentines Day. Ohhh everyone is paired up tonight, very cute though. Dressed in casual Snoopy top and jeans with Crocs slippers, people were looking at Char & i as if we were lesbian i swear we're not. It was just for the fun of tonight, the atmosphere.
Steamboat - the only decent meal i had today.
the mall belongs to us :D
I guess Valentines day isn't much about couples and lovers. Neither it is about candlelight dinners and roses. It's about spreading the love. This year was even better than last year's celebration; more exciting, exhilarating and enjoyable. In fact, it's the best so far. I'm truly thankful to God that i've got a bunch of really great friends (words cant describe how great they're, really). Life's so much better with their presence.
...another typical love story movie
i think we won the best couple award tonight lol
Happy Valentines folks!
...and everyday is valentines day because love is in the air.
I find it awesome to watch other people burn money while i take free shots of fireworks. No sarcasm intended though. I'm a girl, i dont play this kinda stuff, i watch. Anyhoo i'm tired of taking photos outside and have no idea which one of them is the best (might not even best), so here goes three of them.
1. I personally like this best :) 2. would be a hell lot nicer if taken with a DSLR
3. A sprinkle of fireworks?
Chinese New Year is a wee bit different this year. I miss lil chipmunks and ko. Happy eve and reunion dinner peeps!
I've never been to Ta Wa Kong, yes, never. Joshua suspects if i'm a Kuchingnites, of course i'm! Anyway, Ta Wa Kong's hand made mee is superb. I must bring my parents back. I still cant believe i've never been there.
I had my first car accident today at a side parking, luckily only scratches. I feel so sorry and guilty the entire day and got my parents mad worry. A lesson learnt indeed.
The great moments of your life won't necessarily be the things you do, but they'll also be the things that happen to you. Now I'm not saying you can't take action to affect the outcome of your life, you have to take action, and you will.
